Keen Shoes This is my second pair of Keen Newports. My first pair are six years old and I'm amazed at how nicely they have held up. I still wear them but they have always fit a bit snug. This time I took advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size larger than my usual size 10 and got a green pair in size 10 1/2. My new Keens are a much more comfortable fit than my old ones so that extra half size made all the difference Keen Shoes. My Keen Newports are my "go to" Keen Shoes when I need ultra comfort for heavy walking or just being on my feet all day. My Newports are flattering to wear with capris or skirts so I don't feel dressed down when I wear them like I would if I wore sneakers. They are pricey but, oh, so worth the cost. Keen Shoes I bought this bag for law school and it does hold my 13" laptop and most of my books. Naturally, I cannot stuff my massive casebooks in any Keen Shoes bookbag, so I don't think that is an issue here. It's very comfortable on my shoulders and the straps across the chest and base make a world of difference. I'm a 36-year-old woman, so the weight of a full bag is an issue as I commute in NY. The redistribution of weight when I use the straps makes carrying the bag on my back much easier. I love the color and makeup of the bag. It will easily last me 3 years and beyond. I really wanted these shoes to work!
They are very cute and would go well with jeans, capris, shorts, skirts, etc. However, I simply couldn't get a pair to fit. Started with the 7 and even though I have a wide foot, the width was just fine. They were too long, though, and I was falling out of them. Next, tried the 6.5. Again, the width was fine but the heel was too wide so I still slipped out of them. I tried socks - still didn't help. I wish other shoe designers would know what Ryka knows: a woman's foot is shaped differently than a man's - wider through the ball of the foot and narrower through the heel! Both sizes are going back and I'm very disappointed they didn't work. I think for the right feet, these would be very comfortable even though there is little support. These shoes are absolutely worth the money. Over this summer, I've worn these shoes walking (and walking, and walking) all over both New York City and San Francisco and my feet never hurt once, even after hours of being on my feet. They're ideal for wearing while traveling through airports since they're so easy to get off and on while going through security, and are quick to dry if they get wet. or those who are Keen fans I don't have to talk about the fit, workmanship and quality of this shoe. The key word about this style is "versatility". These sandals are at home in town, by the pool or anywhere else. These are now my "go-to" summer Keen Shoes. |
